Why am I still going back to Stardew Valley even after reaching True Perfection?

While still in my gaming burnout, we decided to start out a family farm in Stardew Valley with my wife and daughter. It was the first time I was trying the multiplayer mode, and only the second farm I ever did ever since I first started playing the game. I usually only play my main save everytime there is a new update, and right now, I already have done everything possible achievements wise in the game...but replaying Stardew Valley in multiplayer gave me this weird urge to go back to my main save again, and find a new goal to reach!

This goal was to creat the utlimate lazy set-up! To only sleep for one week and on Sunday, do the bare minimum and collect at least 1 million gold quickly while not doing anything else. In my previous 1.6 update playthrough, I managed to get 3 Auto-Petters from Skull Caverns Mine chests, so heart-rot for my animal was finally solved. The only person/thing still degrading if I was not taking care of it was...my in-game wife. So I finally decided to divorce her while also sacrificing one Rainbow Shard to so that "the kids wont block my door anymore", and just go back to 8 Hearts with the ex-wife after I made her forget about me. Really, Stardew Valley is crazy weird!

Once it was done, I remodeled the house (and the farm in general) so I could quickly access everything, including the door (which is now in a straight line near my bed) and removed everything else, even blocking access to others rooms (if I could, I would go back to a Level 1 House). Just kept the bare minimum for the ultimate lazy set-up. The objective, only having to collect Wine, Diamonds and Pineapple every Sunday, enough to reach 1 million, and then sleep the rest of the week. The Ancient Fruit Wine set-up was mostly done, I just put all my Kegs in a Big Shed instead because I was still using the old Deluxe Barn set-up, which was the best until the introduction of the Big Shed. So next would be having at least twice the amount of Pineapples on Ginger Island (from 350 to above 700). So I started to build more Iridium Sprinklers and Pineapple Seeds. Every inch on my Ginger Island farms is now covered in Pineapples, and a full weekly harvest (quickly done with the Iridium Schythe) was giving me exactly 735 Pineapples. Great!

But the REAL challenge for me was really to have more "Diamonds Factories". So far, I only had one Big Shed filled with Crystariums producing 131 Diamonds every 5 days (but since I was in lazy mode, I was collecting them after 7 days, on Sunday, like everything else). The plan was to get at least 4 Big Shed like that, so more than 500 Crystariums. This would means A LOT of Batteries, Stones, Gold Bars and Iridium Bars. The Battery problem in particular was big, I was not getting enough of them, so I needed to create a new section on my farm dedicated only for Solar Panels (as we can see on the lower right section of the picture). But for that, I would need TONS of refined quartz. SO I converted my Diamonds Factory to a Quartz Factory. Every day, I was getting 131 Quartz (I should have used red one, but I didnt know they were producing even more Refined Quartz, oh well). Then I created TONS of Heavy Furnace to produce all the Refined Quartz needed quickly, and before long, I had more batteries than I could ever wish for.

Next would be the Iridium Bars. Gold Bars were not a problem since I had so much money, I was just mass buying Gold Ores from Clint. Same thing with Stones from Robin. Iridium Ores though were quite slow to get with only one Perfection Statue. Before long, I run out of them, and I had to go mining deep in Skull Cavern. For that, I changed once again all my Crystariums for Jade, and then started to buy TONS of Staircase from the Desert Trader. So everyday, I was getting deep into Skull Cavern, after activating the +1 Ore Bonus from the Mining Mastery Statue, and bombed everything on sight. I was getting around 500 ores daily. So after all that, I finally got all the Iridium Bars I needed. And low and behold, I now have 4 Diamonds Factories fully running. And now, every week, after collecting my Wine, Pineapples and Diamonds, and only that, I'm getting 1.1 million gold. I then can go to sleep for one week, and rinse and repeat in the most laziest way possible. I only need to go out once at the end of the month to buy some food for my animals, which I'm still keeping, just in case.

A few final extra things I did. Now that I have the Basilisk Paw as my Trinket, Immunity on my Boots is totally useless, so I realized that I never got the Dragonscale Boots before, which has the best defense and 0 immunity. I managed to get that on my first try in the Volcano Dungeon! Lucky! Then, I also saw that the new Advanced Iridium Fishing Rod could get an enchantment, which I never did. Quickly got the Master enchantment on it. And finally, I didnt know that the Pan can now be upgraded AND enchanted in 1.6! So I got it to Iridium Rank, and got the Generous enchantment. So now I'm once again totally satisfied with my character.

So that's it for me in Stardew Valley...again. But for real this time. I'm searching hard for something I still want to do in the game, but I think I have achieved all my personal goals. This is my ultimate lazy farm! I will now focus on my new family farm here and there, but I really need to move on from Stardew Valley on my main save at least...
