Just purchased the Taito Milestones 3 collection, which contains many great Taito Arcade games, unlike in my opinion the previous 2 entries. Out of the 10 games included, I already had 6 of those through Hamster Arcade Archives, so I mainly bought it for the others games. One of them, Champion Wrestler, I had no interest, so I beat the remaining 3, which were all great! Let's begin with:
Warrior Blade: Rastan Saga Episode III
What I did in Warrior Blade: Rastan Saga Episode III: Game beaten.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen
While Rastan Saga is a classic series, I never really liked the first two games. The first one in particular which is just way too brutal. But this third one, I can't believe how great it was. Instead of a side-scrolling hack-and-slash, we're getting a classic beat 'em up game in a Golden Axe style. The game is played with a 2 cabinet screen set-up, like Darius 2, and it's just pure "dead brain" fun.
Thunder Fox
What I did in Thunder Fox: Game beaten.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen
This one, I've never heard about before playing it. It's like a Shinobi game, where you can jump between low and high ground, killing waves of enemies. But in between those Shinobi-like sections, we're getting also some vehicles action, including one that is played like a shmup. Really short, but another highly enjoyable Taito game.
Dead Connection
What I did in Dead Connection: Game beaten.
The One Picture I have taken: Ending screen
A gangster themed one-screen arena shooter. Didnt thought I would like this one, but the chaos in the game made me like it in the end. And those english voices for the cutscenes were just too hilarious. Not my favorite, but still worth a playthrough.
And that's it, all 3 games I wanted to complete on the Taito Milestones 3 collection. As a bonus, I'll also put pictures of the 6 others games I already completed with the Arcade Archives releases:
